Relying on One Source of Income Will Pay You Back
Relying on only one source of income without having any "back-up" plan is never good. Whether we speak of a "standard" job in a grocery store, or internet ways of earning money, it is never good to have one stream of income.Take for example Google AdSense. Many Google AdSense publishers more and more rely on AdSense revenue. This might prove as a catastrophic error. Such danger does not exist with publishers earning less than 50$ per day, simply because with that (small) amount of money, they cannot make enough to survive, in most of the countries around the globe. No, a danger of such kind hovers over the clients that earn a lot more on AdSense, sufficient enough to cover their both basic and luxurious needs. And it's just waiting a perfect moment to strike.
Several months ago, I ran onto a website pleading for donations of any kind. Why? Because Google banned them from AdSense, making the site lose approximately 20,000$, which were held on the AdSense account. Subtract the half they lied - it's still 10,000 dollars of unpaid internet, electricity and phone bills, plus profits. Now what? Appeal to Google? It won't be so easy, actually, in 95% of cases, Google will turn down your appeal.
They should have thought earlier. They should have signed up on several Pay Per Click, Pay Per Thousand and Pay Per Action ad networks, in order to balance the earnings between AdSense and the others. If you, and hopefully you won't, get banned from any of the network, sure, it will not be all right. But at least there are other ad networks ready to absorb the shock and bring you even more money.
Put yourself to test. If you are earning as high as necessary in AdSense, disable it, totally, for several days. See how you will go. It is just in case.
